checked in.

updated to fix name of oldest hoople codebase to be hoople1.

working out kinks in git checkins and improving old versions for cvs and svn.

stopped archiving .git files.

does not work for a file that is 'source'd into another bash script.

more recent changes than were available on zooty at the time of initial checkin.
bookmark tools have been improved for parsing links and generating a firefox compatible
web page.  new fortunes.  differ has had some knowledge of git repositories added.

first check-in of feisty meow codebase.  many things broken still due to recent
changes, including the product being entirely renamed, coming from the collision of
hoople2 and yeti codebases, etc etc.
