moved the recustomize alias into being a function, which allows it to support parameters.
now using that fact to allow other users to have customizations besides fred; their base
name just needs to be provided when calling the recustomize function, e.g.:

removed long term usage of putting dot into the PATH, to allow scripts and exes to be run
if they were present in current directory.  have long known this wasn't totally safe, but
the reason for even doing it has long passed.  all of feisty meow aliases and functions and
scripts are loaded up so that one can run them without needing to refer to a file in the
current directory, and for anything that's actually right there in the current directory,
i will just add a "./" in front of it from now on before running it.

new script to take a domain name off of a fully qualified hostname.

tossing some anachronistic scripts that don't work any more.  decided they are not worth
trying to fix for an effect that is pointless; when we ran on sun workstations, they always
logged out to the terminal, and that's where this script would leave a nice message displayed
on the screen.  these days people just never log out of X, which is fine, but it makes this
kind of hack meaningless.

added .tmp files as being bogus.

updated to ignore svn entries file, plus sorted the list to make easier to add.

new version uses HOME variable instead of moronically hard-coded home folder.

"." if you want to list all users process names.
