Subject: [PATCH] added timing of target application runs

perhaps temporary solution using /bin/time to run the RUN_TARGETS from clam makefiles.
the result of this is that timing info for each app or test is shown.  useful information
right now, but maybe will cause issues (hard-coded path to time) in future.
